The following FAQs and Topics are useful for determining if kloudtrack® is a suitable deal-flow tracking platform for particular opportunities. These topics and questions are offered merely as a frame-of-reference exercise. Many additional elements are also useful for more detailed Needs Analysis and should also be considered.
Data/Archive-Related:
- Is this for a single deal or is there the potential for multiple deals to be “active” at any given time
- If multiple, how many deals could be active at any given time
- How much data is expected to be “in play” for any given deal
- If paper, what is the likely range of # of pages
- If digital, how large are the files (MBs/GBs)
- If both, what is the mix
- What are the file formats for the data that will be archived
- Word

- Are documents/data currently archived with a detailed indexing schema
- What is the current data indexing schema/hierarchy

- Is it important to track/monitor/audit who is accessing specific data
- Is there an account manager or administrative resource dedicated to the deal or that can be assigned to the deal (Data Traffic Cop concept)
- Is there a willingness on the part of deal participants to use a Data Room for this deal – requirement is often part of sophisticated deal-terms
- How many “named” individuals will likely be allowed to access the information
